When state and local governments partner with private businesses to prepare for, respond to and recover from natural or man-made disasters, the whole community benefits. Born of a shared vision for public-private collaboration in emergency preparation, response and recovery, the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency and Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, in collaboration with founding industry members, created the Rhode Island Alliance for Business Resilience.
Create a unified voice within the public sector for continuity and disaster recovery on behalf of the business community
The Alliance is dedicated to advancing the quality and effectiveness of communications and action between government and business before, during and following man-made or natural disasters.
As a volunteer organization, member companies and strategic partners agree to provide guidance, expertise and personnel, in an active but voluntary capacity.
